HISTORY:

JONAH, which stands for Join Our Neighborhood And Help, has been identified with
the community of Oakland Beach in Warwick, Rhode island since 1972. The first
senior program of Warwick moved to the JONAH building in 1981. Serving the
community physically and with spirit is JONAH. It has provided service to many
individuals over the years and continues to do so today.

The JONAH building has been occupied as a bumper car amusement park, a church,
and a movie house. Over the years it has withstood many hurricanes and community
changes. Oakland Beach
Continues to be one of the special waterfronts of Rhode Island. With a view of the new
